The Foundation for European Cultural Heritage „Patrimonium Europae” started cooperation with University in Oslo, the Museum of History of Culture, and the Museum of Viking Boats in Oslo which is a part of the Museum of History of Culture.
In the course of cooperation the Foundation gained access to valuable documents, which will help us to continue our work on the copy of the Oseberg cart. This project is coordinated and realized by Piotr Baranowicz, a sculptor and a member of historical reenactment movement.
These documents will also be useful to reconstruct other artifacts found in this one of the most significant burial places of Viking era.
Through our actions we aim to save these unique findings in memory, so that they will be inspiration for many contemporary artists, artisans and reenactors.
